NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Three UW-Superior volleyball players had at least five kills and two had eight or more digs, but St. Olaf hit. 328 as a team, topping the Yellowjackets, 3-0, at the Skoglund Center Tuesday.

Cami Sletta (Willmar, Minn./Willmar Senior) tallied eight kills while
Cassy Teff (Foley, Minn./Foley) and
Brylee Colligan (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji) had five apiece. Teff added 12 of her team's 21 assists on the day to go with seven digs.

St. Olaf (4-1) had three players with double-figure kills, led by Lauren Rewers' 13. Emily Jarnigan registered a match-high 21 digs. The Oles limited UWS (1-4) to a .163 attack percentage.

The first set was tight before St. Olaf pulled away late for the victory. After a Colligan kill cut the 'Jackets' deficit to 12-10, St. Olaf used a 12-5 run to open a 24-15 advantage. UWS fought off two set points with kills from Colligan and Teff, but Summer Reid gave the Oles the set with a kill to close it out, 25-17.

UWS scored three consecutive points to tie the second set at 15-15 on a St. Olaf error,
Hannah Goggleye (Calumet, Minn./Greenway) and Teff block and a Teff kill.Â

St. Olaf opened a 20-17 lead with a 4-0 spurt to force a timeout. The 'Jackets got to within 23-21 and 24-22 on St. Olaf service errors but no closer. Morgan Marxer ended the set with a kill for a 25-23 win.

The Oles rallied for nine of the first 11 points on the third set and didn't look back, cruising to a 25-12 victory to take the match.
