SUPERIOR, Wis. – No. 17-ranked Northwestern hit .390 with 50 kills in a sweep of the UW-Superior volleyball team at the Ericksen Center in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference action on Friday.

The Eagles won by set scores of 25-10, 25-10 and 25-15 as five UNW players tallied at least seven kills apiece. Abby Glazer posted a match-high 13 kills with seven digs and Ari Schmidt added 11 kills on just 17 swings for a .588 attack efficiency.Â

Alexie Pryd (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove Senior) paced the Yellowjackets with six kills and freshman
Jenna Anderson (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji) recorded a team-best 13 digs to lead the defense. Junior
Cassy Teff (Foley, Minn./Foley) chipped in with five kills and six assists, while senior
Megan Holz (Savage, Minn./Burnsville Senior) had Superior's other 11 assists.

The Eagles (23-3, 10-0 UMAC) led wire-to-wire in each set and did not let the Superior (9-15, 7-4) gain traction.Â

UNW led in all statistical categories, including kills, 50-17, service aces, 5-0, blocks, 9-3, assists, 50-17, and digs, 60-42.Â
