MINNEAPOLIS --Â The UW-Superior men's soccer team received goals from five different players and scored four times in the second half in a 6-0 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference victory over North Central at Elliot Park Field on Friday.

Freshman
Jake Kidd (Superior, Wis./Superior Senior) posted his first career multiple-goal match and classmates
Patrick Sessions (Brighton, England/Brighton, Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College) and
Lucas Biederman (Hudson, Wis./Hudson) combined for a clean sheet in the win as the Yellowjackets improved to 11-3-2 and 8-1-2 in the league. Kidd scored in the 41st and 66th minutes, Sessions made two saves and Biederman one as UWS collected its seventh shutout of the season as a team.

Phillip Eriksen (Skjetten, Norway/Lorenskog) and freshman
Ryan Tomsche (Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet Senior) each had a goal and an assist, as well.

Eriksen opened the scoring in the 20th minute with his eighth of the season, assisted by sophomore
Josh Bellamy (High Wycombe, England/FAB Football Academy). Kidd doubled the lead 21 minutes later with his fourth of the year from sophomoreÂ
Drake Schramm (Cloquet, Minn./Esko).

Gavin Watkinson (Lakeville, Minn./Farmington Area) made it 3-0 with his third in the 55th minute from Eriksen before Kidd got his second of the day and fifth of the year for a 4-0 edge.
Carter Tess (Merrimack, N.H./Merrimack) assisted on that goal.

Freshman
Bryce Boldt (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) and Tomsche scored their first college goals in the 82nd and 88th minutes, respectively, for the final margin. Tomsche assisted on the Boldt goal, while freshman
Joe Wallek (White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake Area) picked up the helper on the Tomsche tally.

The Yellowjackets outshot North Central (6-10-1, 3-7-1) 50-9 overall and 37-5 in shots on target. NCU goalkeeper Jerad Buse stopped 18 shots.
