SUPERIOR, Wis. -- Solvei Berg-Messerole tallied six points and Molly Terebayza five as St. Olaf completed a weekend sweep of the UW-Superior women's hockey team with a 7-1 victory at Wessman Arena on Saturday.
Berg-Messerole had two goals and four assists and Terebayza scored a hat trick and added two assists to spoil the collegiate debut of UWS freshman goaltender

Sophomore
Emma Booth (Brainerd, Minn./Brainerd) gave the Yellowjackets the lead just 33 seconds into the game, as UWS struck first for the second consecutive day, but it was all St. Olaf from that point forward. The Oles (7-5-1) scored twice in the first period, once in the second and four times in the third to secure the win, getting goals from four different skaters.
Booth sneaked a shot inside the near post and past goalie Devon Cole (22 saves). Sophomore
Darbie Mattson (Atikokan, Ontario/Atikokan) assisted on Booth's first goal of the season.
Terebayza knotted the game, 1-1, at 4:37 of the first from Berg-Messerole and Maddie Anderson, before Berg-Messerole potted the go-ahead goal on the power play at 14:08 from Grace Lankas and Terebayza.
Berg-Messerole and Terebayza hooked up again for an even-strength marker at 4:48 of the middle frame to make it 3-1, with Terebayza getting her second of the game. Lankas picked up the second assist on the play.
The Oles poured it on in the third as Berg-Messerole pushed the lead to 4-1 with an assist fromLexie Ligday at 1:56. Anderson then scored from Berg-Messerole and Terebayza at 4:26.
Power-play goals by Terebayza and Iona Welsh at 6:55 and 15:17, respectively, rounded out the scoring.
The Oles were 3-for-8 on the power play with 14 shots, while UWS was scoreless in three extra-skater opportunities.
Pajari turned aside 35 shots on the day.
The Yellowjackets (4-7-0) close the first half Tuesday on the road at Marian. Puck drop at the Blue Line Family Ice Center in Fond du Lac, Wis., is 2:30 p.m.
