SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Yellowjacket men's and women's track and field team released their indoor schedules in an announcement Thursday. After sweeping the field in last year's Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Championships and leading the men to their seventh-straight title and the women's first in program history, head coach Glen Drexler looks to have a repeat performance in 2024.
 
The Yellowjackets open the season across the bridge Saturday, Dec. 9 with the CSS Early Bird at 11 a.m. The 'Jackets then have over a month off before hosting the Twin Ports Open Jan. 20 inside the Lydia C. Thering Fieldhouse at 11 a.m., before traveling to UW-Stout to take part in the two-day Warren Bowlus Invite Jan. 26-27.
 
UW-Superior returns to the Twin Ports with the Lake Superior Challenge Feb. 3 at 11 a.m. inside St. Scholastica's Burns Wellness Commons. The following week, the 'Jackets host the third-annual Maday Classic Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. UWS will then hit the road Feb. 17 to compete at the Bethel Invite before hosing the UMAC Indoor Championships Feb. 23-24, with a 1:30 p.m. start on Friday and a 10:30 a.m. start Saturday.
 
Following the championship meet, select Yellowjackets will compete at the NCAA Last Chance Qualifier on the campus of Ripon College March 1-2.
