NEW ULM, Minn. – The UW-Superior women's soccer team traveled to Martin Luther for another Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) match up Saturday afternoon at MLC Soccer Field. Securing a 3-1 win over the Knights to improve the Yellowjackets 6-5-0 overall and 4-1-0 in UMAC play.
The Yellowjackets are now tied for first place in the UMAC standings with Bethany Lutheran and Northwestern, all three with 12 points.
Taylor DeCook (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect) had an impressive performance, scoring two critical goals in the match. Her first goal was the equalizer, bringing the score to 1-1. She then sealed the victory with her second goal, leading the Yellowjackets in a 3-1 victory.

Elysabeth Lough (Las Vegas, Nev./Northwest Career and Technical Academy) got the start and is now 3-3-0 in net. Lough faced three attempted shots and notched one saves.

The Yellowjackets, with a quick turnaround, are back in action Tuesday, Oct. 8 when they face Crown on the road. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. at Old National Bank Stadium.
