SUPERIOR, Wis. – After collecting its third-consecutive Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) title in 2023 under head coach Allison DeGroot, the University of Wisconsin-Superior women's soccer team unveiled the 2024 schedule in an announcement Friday.
 
The Yellowjackets will partake in two scrimmages before heading into regular season action. The 'Jackets will face St. Scholastica Tuesday, Aug. 20 at Kenny Harkins Field with a 5 p.m. kickoff. UWS then travels to UW-Stout for another friendly at Nelson Field.
 
UW-Superior opens the regular season with seven straight home matches. Friday, Aug. 30 will see the Yellowjackets and UW-La Crosse face off at 7 p.m. before the Falcons of UW-River Falls come to town two days later for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
 
St. Scholastica will venture over the bridge Wednesday, Sept. 4 before UW-Platteville heads to Superior Saturday, Sept. 7 for a 2 p.m. match. Wednesday, Sept. 11 features the Yellowjackets and Gustavus Adolphus beginning at 4 p.m.
 
UMAC play begins Wednesday, Sept. 18 as North Central comes to Superior for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff. The Cougars of Minnesota Morris come to town Saturday, Sept. 21 with a match time of 2 p.m., capping the seven-match homestand. Saturday's contest will also serve as the grand opening for Superior Choice Credit Union (SCCU) Stadium, the new home of Yellowjacket soccer.
 
UWS hits the road Tuesday, Sept. 24 to the campus of Northwestern for more conference play. The opening kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. at Reynolds Field. Up next for the 'Jackets is a 2 p.m. match with Bethany Lutheran, slated for Saturday, Sept. 28 at Scheels Field.
 
The Yellowjackets stay on the road with a match Saturday, Oct. 5 against Martin Luther, with the opening kickoff set for 2 p.m. Three days later, the 'Jackets will head to St. Bonifacius, Minn. for a 4:30 p.m. match versus Crown.
 
Following their match against the Polars, UW-Superior has a quick turnaround with a non-conference match against Macalester. Action commences at 7 p.m. at Macalester Stadium. Saturday, Oct. 12 marks a meeting with Minnesota Morris, slated for 3:30 p.m. at Cougar Field.
 
Northwestern travels to Superior Wednesday, Oct. 16 for a 7 p.m. match before Bethany Lutheran is set to face the Yellowjackets Saturday, Oct. 19 at 3:30 p.m. at SCCU Stadium. UWS will travel to Minneapolis to take on North Central Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Eliot Park Field. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
 
Senior Day for the 'Jackets will take place Saturday, Oct. 26 versus Martin Luther. The opening kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The final non-conference match comes against St. Olaf Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 3:30 p.m. in Northfield, Minn.
 
UW-Superior is set to face Crown Saturday, Nov. 2 at SCCU Stadium in their final regular season match at 3:30 p.m.
 
The Yellowjackets finished the 2023 campaign with an overall record of 16-6-1 and a UMAC mark of 13-1, capturing the program's third conference title in as many years. Advancing to the first round of the NCAA Division III Regionals, the 'Jackets fell to the Eagles of UW-La Crosse.
