MORRIS, Minn. – The Yellowjacket women's soccer team continued Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play Saturday, taking on the Cougars of Minesota Morris. Four different Yellowjackets landed on the scoresheet at Cougar Field, as they claimed a 4-1 win.
Match Notes
- After allowing a Cougar goal in the ninth minute of play, the 'Jackets rattled off a pair of goals in the first 45 minutes. Niamh Larson (Brookfield, Ill./Riverside Brookfield) found the back of the net for the ninth time this season in the 35th minute, while Kamryn Hill (Duluth, Minn./Denfeld) struck gold four minutes later.
- Brynn Johnson (South Range, Wis./Superior) logged her second goal in the 72nd minute before Brook Judnick (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown) followed suit at the 79th minute of play, securing the victory on the road.
- Final shots on the day were 24-12 favoring Superior, including an 11-2 margin for shots on net.
- Making one save in net for the 'Jackets was Quinn Clark (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East), improving her win total to seven.
The Yellowjackets will return home for their three final regular season matches. Tuesday they will take on Macalester, with an opening kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
