SAINT PETER, Minn. – Following their 10th victory within the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) on Saturday against Minnesota Morris, the Yellowjacket men's soccer team traveled south to face the Golden Gusties of Gustavus Adolphus. Early on both teams displayed strong defensive efforts, but early in the second half the Gusties found the back of the net and held on for a 1-0 win.
 
Match Notes

• The Gusties utilized a miscue by a Yellowjacket defender in the 55th minute of play, as Kieran Mahan sent a feed to Jack Isroff for his first goal of the season.
• Leading the 'Jackets in total shots was Freddy Watson (Wendover, England/Berkshire College of Agriculture) with three, while Bryce Boldt (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) and Isaac Becket (Surrey, England/The Sixth Form College Farnborough) fired a pair.
• Superior outshot the Gusties 12-11, including a 3-2 edge on shots on frame.
• Patrick Sessions (Brighton, England/Brighton, Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College) suffered the loss while making one save in net, while Jackson Baker picked up the win for Gustavus Adolphus.

 
The Yellowjackets have two final conference matches to wrap up the regular season. They will host Bethany Lutheran this Friday, with an opening kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. at SCCU Stadium.
