MANKATO, Minn.- After a convincing win Friday, the UW-Superior men's soccer team took on the Bethany Lutheran Vikings in a highly anticipated match. Coming into the game both the 'Jackets and Vikings were undefeated in conference play. After jumping out to an early lead the 'Jackets didn't look back, as they defeated the Vikings 3-0.

- Rowan Wagner (McFarland, Wis./McFarland) put the 'Jackets up early finding the back of the net on an assist from Harvey McLoughlin (London, England/Highgate Woods) in the ninth minute of play.
- In the 52nd minute of play Jake Kidd (Superior, Wis./Superior) added a goal on an assist from Orlando Fertleman (London, England/Aldenham).
- Freddy Watson (Wendover, England/Berkshire College of Agriculture) found the back of the net in the 70th minute, his fourth of the campaign.
- Patrick Sessions (Brighton, England/Brighton, Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College) finished the afternoon with two saves and a clean sheet in net for the Yellowjackets.
- Superior outshot the Vikings 11-8 Saturday.
- The Yellowjackets extended their winning streak to eight matches.
Superior (8-3, 6-0 UMAC) is back in action Tuesday as they play host to Augsburg. The opening kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at SCCU Stadium.
