SUPERIOR, Wis. - The Yellowjacket women's hockey team returned to Wessman Arena Saturday afternoon looking to bounce back from their first game of the season. Lake Forest was yet again able to shut down the 'Jacket offense winning by a score of 2-0.  

Game Notes:  

• The Foresters got their first goal on the match from Haley Hunter seven minutes into the first period.  

• Lake Forest tacked on a second goal early in the third period from Willow Poppleton. 

• Defensively the 'Jackets blocked ten shots with Veda Roeske (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater Area), Taylee Marks (Thunder Bay, Ontario/Hammarskjold) and Brooke Bugos (Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial) having two.  

• UWS won 34 faceoffs in the contest with Emma Kligora (Milton, Wis./Milton) having 14 herself.  

• Kendal Gustavsson (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) led the way for the 'Jackets in shots with seven while Addison Fee (Crookston, Minn./Crookston) and Bugos had five.  

• Jayda Moyer (Albert Lea, Minn./Albert Lea) took the loss in net for UWS 23 saves.  

• UWS outshot the Foresters 31-25 in the game. 

The 'Jackets return to the ice on Friday traveling to St. Paul to take on Hamline. Opening faceoff is set for 2 p.m. at TRIA Rink.
