COLFAX, Wis. – The Yellowjacket women's cross country team traveled to the Whitetail Golf Course this weekend to compete in the NCAA Division III North Regional, hosted by UW-Eau Claire. The 'Jackets, who are without a portion of their team due to injury, capped the 2025 season featuring the region's best with a team score of 921 for 30th overall.
Race Notes
- Scarlett Vanderscheuren (Saginaw, Minn./South Ridge) and Lillianna Jones (Portage, Wis./Portage) were the first to cross the line for Superior, crossing the line at 27:18.7 and 27:30.1, respectively.
- Aubrey Peterson (Kasson, Minn./Kasson-Mantorville) wasn't far behind, collecting a race time of 27:36.3.
- Rounding out the Yellowjacket entrants were Amelia Olson (Sturgeon Lake, Minn./Moose Lake) and Abby Congleton (Eagle River, Wis./Northland Pines). Olson finished the race in 27:44.4, while Congleton garnered a 29:39.7.
The NCAA North Regional caps the season for Superior.
