UW-Superior Second in Jerome Kruse All-Sport Trophy Standings

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – At the end of the fall season, the University of Wisconsin-Superior ranks second in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Jerome Kruse All-Sport Trophy standings, the league announced Wednesday.

The award, in honor of Jerome Kruse (longtime athletic director at Martin Luther and Northwestern), recognizes the top athletics department throughout the league.

Northwestern leads the circuit with 43 points, after capturing championships in women's cross country, women's soccer, volleyball, and women's golf. Superior stands with 39 points with three conference titles in men's cross country, men's soccer, and men's golf.

Both Crown and Bethany Lutheran are tied for third place with 27 points, while Martin Luther takes fifth with 21.5 points. Rounding out the league is Minnesota Morris (19.5 points) and North Central (nine points), respectively.

UWS has held the Jerome Kruse All-Sport Trophy for the last four seasons, having won it for the first time in 2021-22.
