SUPERIOR, Wis. - The Yellowjacket men's basketball team played host to the Duhawks from Loras College on Saturday in search of their first win of the season. The Yellowjackets battled the Duhawks down to the wire but were unable to claim their first victory falling to Loras 68-65.

In the second half, Loras slowly crawled their way back into the game as their defensive efforts were spearheaded by Deng Makeer, who allowed Damyen Jackson to give the Duhawks the 57-55 lead with 7:07 left on the clock.
The Yellowjackets return to the court Wednesday night as they head to UW-Stout. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Johnson Fieldhouse in Menomonie, Wis.
