MANKATO. Minn. - The Yellowjacket women's soccer team traveled south to take on the Bethany Lutheran Vikings in the semifinal round of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament. After dropping their last regular season match-up against the Vikings, the 'Jackets looked to bounce back and did just that with a convincing 3-0 victory.

- Niamh Larson (Brookfield, Ill./Riverside Brookfield) got the 'Jackets on the board early, scoring in the 14th minute on an assist from Kamryn Hill (Duluth, Minn./Denfeld).
- In the 19th minute the Vikings committed an own goal coming off a long throw from Mercedes Burmeister (New Germany, Minn./Watertown-Mayer), which deflected off Hill and then a Viking defender, before finding the back of the net.
- Hill scored her second goal of the match in the 81st minute of play unassisted.
- Superior outshot the Vikings 15-9, nine of which were shots on goal.
- Quinn Clark (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) notched her second consecutive clean sheet and her ninth of the season making four saves in the contest.
The 'Jackets will take on the Northwestern Eagles in the UMAC Championship match on Saturday, as they look to win their fifth consecutive postseason crown. The opening kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Reynolds Field.
