DULUTH, Minn. - The Yellowjacket men's basketball team traveled across the bridge Wednesday night to face St. Scholastica. UWS was able to take down their former conference foe and earn their second victory of the season by a final score of 64-56.

The Saints jumped out to an early 9-4 lead before a 'Jacket run off scores from Micah Young (Minneapolis, Minn./Thomas Edison), Rocco Paulson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) and Evan Bennett (Superior, Wis./Superior) gave them their first lead of the game at 12-11.

With the game tied at 26 with 4:33 left in the first half, UWS went on an 11-0 run to close the half as Caiden Lecce (Kenosha, Wis./St. Joseph Catholic) and Landen Thomer (Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee) helped them get into the break up 37-26.
The Yellowjackets return home Saturday as they host 22nd ranked UW-Eau Claire. Tip-off inside Mertz Mortorelli Gymnasium is scheduled for 3 p.m.
