SUPERIOR, Wis. - Coming off their first victory of the seasons the UWS men's basketball team hosted St. Norbert. The Yellowjackets were unable to continue their momentum as they fell to the Green Knights 64-56.  
Game Notes:  

• The Yellowjackets were able to earn an eight-point lead in the first half as Micah Young (Minneapolis, Minn./Thomas Edison), Landen Thomer (Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee) and Kenny Garth (Kenosha, Wis./Westosha Central) helped put them up 20-12.   

• St. Norbert battled their way back into the game taking the lead going into halftime 28-27.  

• In the second half neither team took a commanding lead as Evan Bennett (Superior, Wis./Superior) and Rocco Paulson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) kept the score close for UWS.  

• The Green Knights were able to gain an eight-point advantage for themselves down the stretch, ultimately putting the 'Jackets away. 

• Leading the 'jackets in scoring were the pair of Bennett and Paulson each having ten. Thomer and Young filled in nine points for UWS while Thomer had ten rebounds to lead the 'Jackets.  

• Cole Uhlenbrauk led St. Norbert in scoring with 16 points while Ryan Cox had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. 

The Yellowjackets return to the court on Wednesday traveling across the bridge to face St. Scholastica. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Reif Gym.
