SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Yellowjacket volleyball team finally returned to their home court Friday, playing host to the 2025 Subway Stinger Classic. The 'Jackets entered the weekend 7-5 and looked to build some momentum heading into conference play, and with a pair of gritty wins against the Cobbers of Concordia College (3-1) and the Auggies of Augsburg (3-1), they did just that.

- In the fourth the 'Jackets took a lead early and never gave it away. Carlie Lohman (South Range, Wis./Superior) logged both a kill and a service ace while Jones, Hohbein and Saeger added points of their own. Despite the Cobbers trying to generate a long rally the Yellowjackets finished it off with a Hohbein kill to win 25-17.
