SUPERIOR, Wis. - The UW-Superior men's soccer team entered their game against Minnesota Morris on a five-game winning streak which includes a 4-0 start in UMAC play. Coming into the game with Morris the Yellowjackets won 12 straight against the Cougars dating back to 2017. The Yellowjackets added another win to that total as they defeated the Cougars 6-1.  

Match Notes:  

• Seth Davidson (Sartell, Minn./Sartell) put the Yellowjackets on the board early as he found the back of the net off a rebounded shot from Jacob Wyles (Watlington, Oxfordshire/FAB Academy).  

• In the sixth minute of play Jake Kidd (Superior, Wis./Superior) scored to make the score 2-0 from a pass off the foot of Wyles.  

• Kidd added his second of the match as he took feeds from Isaac Becket (Surrey, England/The Sixth Form College Farnborough)t and Rowan Wagner (McFarland, Wis./McFarland) in the 10th minute of play.  

• Aaron Mackall got Minnesota Morris on the board as he got a breakaway and sent a shot past Yellowjacket goalkeeper Luke Lockman (Mequon, Wis./Homestead).  

• Callum Greenan (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) added the fourth Yellowjacket and first of his career as he got a pass from Kyle Massingham (Nuneaton, England/Future Pro College) to find the back of the net.  

• Becket found the back of the net for his first goal of the 2025 campaign to give UWS a 5-1 lead.  

• In the 63rd minute Davidson got a pass from Becket to add his second goal of the game.  

• The Yellowjackets outshot the Cougars 29-2 with Kidd leading the way for UWS having five and Davidson having four.  

The Yellowjackets are next in action Friday afternoon at Martin Luther. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at MLC Soccer Field in New Ulm, Minn.
