SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Yellowjacket women's hockey team finished its two-game series with the Royals of Bethel University Saturday. It was another slow start to the game as neither team found the back of the net in the first period. A late goal in the second and two more in the third gave the Royals their second 3-1 win in as many days.

Game Notes
- Malia McKinnon converted on the short-hand opportunity at 18:30 in the second frame, as Olivia Martin and Afton Hulke were credited with helpers.
- Kallie Abrahamson Tibbetts received a pass from Evie Sellner in the third period at 2:59, giving the Royals a 2-0 lead before they would strike once again at 4:47.
- Trailing 3-0, the Yellowjackets lit the lamp at 18:43, with Emma Kligora (Milton, Wis./Milton) finding the back of the net. Addison Fee (Crookston, Minn./Crookston) garnered the assist.
- Ashton Parnell (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti) won 10 faceoffs on the day while Kasja Kovala (Winona, Minn./Winona) won nine.
- Four players from Superior finished with three shots.
- Aliya Gricius (Winona, Minn./Winona) took the loss in net. She made 25 saves, 12 of which were in the first period.
- Superior took four penalties while the Royals served six.

The Yellowjackets (1-14-1, 1-2 WIAC) return home Friday for more conference action against UW-River Falls. The opening faceoff is set for 7 p.m. inside Wessman Arena.
