SUPERIOR, Wis. - After falling in their first conference game Wednesday, the Yellowjacket men's basketball team looked to bounce back against Bethany Lutheran. After taking control of the game early, the Vikings were able to earn the victory over UWS 75-56.

The 'Jackets got early buckets from Landen Thomer (Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee), Evan Bennett (Superior, Wis./Superior) and Gage Braiedy (Mora, Minn./Mora) but Bethany Lutheran still held a 14-8 lead.

The Vikings were able to get their lead in the first half up to 15 points, but a Rocco Paulson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) layup and a buzzer beating three pointer from Bennett got the Viking lead down to nine points at the half.
The Yellowjackets return to the court next Saturday as they host Martin Luther. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:45 p.m. inside Mortorelli Gymnasium.
