SUPERIOR, Wis. - Coming off their win last Saturday, the Yellowjacket men's basketball team hosted Northwestern in a UMAC matchup. Despite trailing for much of the second half, the 'Jackets came all the way back to grab the lead in the final seconds. Northwestern was able to regain the lead with eight seconds left and beat Superior 69-68.

The two teams traded buckets to start as Landen Thomer (Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee) and Hayden Quimby (Menasha, Wis./Xavier) scored early. The 'Jackets took their largest lead of the game at five points after Nick Nordaune (Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata) and Evan Bennett (Superior, Wis./Superior) hit three pointers to make the score 13-8.
The Yellowjackets will look to bounce back on Saturday as they travel to Minnesota Morris. Tip-off between the 'Jackets and Cougars is scheduled for 4:45 p.m.
