SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Yellowjacket women's hockey team returned to Wessman Arena Tuesday for their third game against the Cobbers of Concordia College. After a scoreless first both teams found their footing offensively, but a few unlucky bounces went against the 'Jackets in the final two periods as they fell 4-2.

Game Notes
- Morgan Sauvageau took feeds from Memphis Mertens and Addie Moos to score at 6:47 in the second period.
- Superior countered roughly four minutes later. Stacy Steiner (Janesville, Wis./Craig) and Ella Hornung (Stillwater, Minn./Hill-Murray) each assisted Veda Roeske (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater Area).
- After the Cobbers ended the second with a 2-1 lead, Anna Scherling (Rogers, Minn./Rogers) received a centering pass from Avery Olenik (Thunder Bay, Ontario/Hammarskjold) to level the scoring at 2-2.
- Concordia scored twice in the final frame, leading them to a 4-2 win.
- Taking the loss in net was Maddie Wostrel (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park), totaling 35 saves. Her record stands at 1-4.
- Four different Yellowjackets rattled off four shots, including Roeske, Hornung, Ashton Parnell (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti) and Maya Anderson (Cambridge, Minn./Totino-Grace).

Superior remains at home when they host Bethel Friday. The opening faceoff is slated for 7 p.m. inside Wessman Arena.
