INDIANAPOLIS – The Yellowjacket women's basketball team claimed their second-straight Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament Championship Saturday, defeating North Central and earning the league's automatic bid into the 2025-26 NCAA Division III Tournament.
After tuning into the selection show Monday afternoon, the 'Jackets learned they are scheduled to face the regional-host Cobbers of Concordia (Minn.) Action inside the Memorial Auditorium is scheduled for Friday, Mar. 6 at 8 p.m.
The Yellowjackets are led in scoring by juniors
Maddie Reott (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) (237) and
Hope Carlson (Duluth, Minn./Proctor) (228), while junior
Charlotte Ferstl (Plain, Wis./River Valley) leads the squad in the rebounds department (190 total).
The 2025-26 season marks the fifth appearance in the NCAA Tournament for the Yellowjackets, as well as the first appearance under head coach
Eveline Parsons in her first season at the helm.
Also apart of the Concordia Regional are Ripon and UW-River Falls, who play at 5:30 p.m.
