ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Yellowjacket softball team hit the road for a doubleheader matchup with North Central. The Yellowjackets took care of the Rams in convincing fashion winning game one 23-0 and game two 13-1.
Game 1 Notes:

In the second Kylie Zwak (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) hit a solo shot before a hit by pitch with the bases loaded scored Delaney Johnson (Ellsworth, Wis./Ellsworth) to make the score 4-0. MyKenzie Leccia (Somerset, Wis./Somerset) a batter later would hit a grand slam to double the Superior lead. Two more runs would come in to score in the inning as Samantha Swartz (Antigo, Wis./Antigo) and Karen Balabon (Elk River, Minn./Elk River) scored.

Six more runs would score in the third Carly Stuckmayer (Delano, Minn./Delano) scored. Leccia and Swartz came home on a Balabon single. Balabon, Zwak and Johnson would all come around to score later in the inning to make it 16-0.

Tessa Twedt (Brookings, S.D./Brookings) would later knock in Stuckmayer and then come around and score along with Megan Witt (Burnsville, Minn./Eagan) on a Zwak RBI single. The final three runs came courtesy of a Kylie Hochsprung (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North) home run.
Game 2 Notes:
The Yellowjackets (15-11, 5-3 UMAC) and Rams play again tomorrow with first pitch slated for 11 a.m. at Reynolds Field in St. Paul.
