SUPERIOR, Wis. – Yellowjacket student-athletes have displayed a department-wide cumulative grade point average of 3.286 in the Spring 2026 semester, UW-Superior Director of Athletics Nick Bursik reported.
"This commitment has long been a defining characteristic of our department and aligns closely with the values we aspire to uphold," Bursik said. "I appreciate the sustained dedication to advancing the academic success of our student-athletes."
47 Yellowjacket student-athletes finished the semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA, while six came away with a cumulative 4.0 grade point average. An even 200 student-athletes received academic honors, 57 of which were Summa Cum Laude (3.850 or above), 82 of which were Magna Cum Laude (3.60-3.849), and 61 were Cum Laude (3.40 to 3.599). A total of 265 student-athletes capped the term with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The top GPA's across the department came from women's cross country (3.526) and men's hockey (3.523).
