2021-22: Named UMAC Player of the Year and to the All-UMAC First Team ... Went 14-7 overall in singles, including 7-1 in the UMAC ... Also 14-7 overall in doubles with a 6-1 mark in the UMAC ... Four-time UMAC Player of the Week (Feb. 14 and 22 and April 11 and 25) ... Enters the season with the school record for career singles victories (27), fifth-best career singles winning percentage (.730), is tied for third in career doubles wins (24) and is fourth in career doubles winning percentage (.649) ... His 14 singles wins is the third most in school history in a single season, while the 14 doubles wins are tied for third all-time ... Earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors ... Named UMAC Academic All-Conference.

2021: Named All-UMAC ... Went 10-3 in singles and 9-4 in doubles ... Was 7-0 at No. 2 singles ... Won his last eight singles matches of the season ... Played doubles with partners Lorenzo Korehisa Silva (0-1), Anthony Michels (0-1), Gus Rasmussen (3-0), Jacob Zacharias (2-0) and Gergo Potz Nagy (4-2) ... Earned  ITA Scholar-Athlete honors ... Named UMAC Academic All-Conference.

2020: Was 3-0 in singles (at No. 1) and 1-3 in doubles (at No. 2) in his first season prior to the COVID-19 pandemic ... Won singles, 6-4, 7-5 at Saint Mary's and 6-3. 5-7, 10-6 at St. Thomas, both on Feb. 9 ... Won, 6-0, 6-3 against Concordia-Moorhead in singles Feb. 16 ... Also took doubles against the Cobbers with partner Lorenzo Korehisa Silva, 8-6 ... Earned  ITA Scholar-Athlete honors ... Named UMAC Academic All-Conference.

Before UWS: Son of Elizabeth and Kevin Janes ... Born April 2, 2001 ... Graduate of Legacy High School in 2019 ... Won five west region team championships in 2013 and 2015-18 for Century High School (seventh grade) and Legacy High School ... Won the individual singles state championship in 2018 and was runner up in 2017 ... West region doubles champion 2014-16 and singles champion from 2017-19, also finishing fourth in 2013 ... Placed second in the state tournament in doubles (2016), third (2015) and sixth (2014) ... Team was second in the state in 2016 and 2018, third in 2015, fourth in 2017 and sixth in 2014 ... Won Legacy's Senior Athlete of the Year award in 2018 ... Two-year National Honor Society member from 2016-17 ... Earned Highest Distinction for having a 3.5 or higher GPA in all four years of high school ... Majoring in Mathematics and Education at UW-Superior.
