The Rams would close the quarter out on a 10-6 run however, as the Yellowjackets went into the half with a 42-29 lead.

The late second quarter momentum carried over into the third for North Central, as they opened the quarter on a 6-2 run to cut the Yellowjacket lead to 46-35. The Yellowjackets responded with an 8-0 run of their own, capped by a Bailee Bartunek (Audobon, Minn./Lake Park-Audobon) jumper, to push their lead to 54-35 with 4:03 remaining. The Yellowjackets kept up the pressure, as they went into the final quarter holding a 58-42 lead.

The Yellowjackets kept North Central at arm's length for the entirety of the fourth quarter. With just under five minutes remaining, and the game firmly in hand, Yellowjacket Head Coach Don Mulhern began to sub out his four seniors' one at a time, allowing for the fans to give each a loud round of applause on the Yellowjacket Senior Day.

Lindberg led the Yellowjackets in this matchup, finishing with 16 points. Skalmoski added 14 points and eight rebounds, while Kennedy finished with 13 points and seven rebounds. Allie Nelson (Augusta, Wis./Augusta) finished with a team high five steals.
