ST. PAUL, Minn. (October 9, 2017) – After her great defensive performance last week, which included three wins, two conference, for the Yellowjackets, Mackenzie Dahlin (Kaukauna, Wis./Kaukauna) was honored as the UMAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.

As a defensive specialist for the 'Jackets, Dahlin racked up 66 digs, a 6.0 dig/set average, to help Superior get wins over St. Scholastica, St. Kate's, and Bethany Lutheran. Dahlin's best game came against St. Scholastica as she posted 30 digs in four sets.

Dahlin currently ranks second in the UMAC with 341 total, averaging 4.16/set in 82 sets.

The Yellowjackets will head to Finlandia this Wednesday, Oct. 11 for a 7 p.m. contest, and then come back home to take on the Martin Luther Knights at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14.
