ROGERS, Minn. – The UW-Superior women's tennis team took on Bethel on Saturday at the Rogers Tennis Center and was bested by the Royals, 9-0.

Kallie Olson (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert Senior) played the tightest match of the day at No. 6 singles. She dropped a 6-4, 6-3 decision to Bethel's Macy Voss.

Shelby Hanson (Albert Lea, Minn./Albert Lea Senior) winning two games in the first set at No. 4 against Rylee Schurman and classmate
Kaytlyn Syverson (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids) winnig a game in each set versus Sydney Rott at No. 2.

Chiyono Owa (Tokyo, Japan/Otsuma Nakano Senior) also won one game in the second against Elise Bierbaum on court three.
The Yellowjackets (1-3) are back in action next Friday and Saturday against Saint Mary's and Loras in Winona, Minn. The 'Jackets and Cardinals square up at 6 p.m. on Friday. UWS and the Duhawks face off Saturday at noon.
