SUPERIOR, Wis. --Â The UW-Superior men's tennis team ran its winning streak to three matches with a 9-0 victory over Martin Luther to open Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play at Dr. Lydia C. Thering Fieldhouse on Sunday.

UWS (6-4, 1-0 UMAC) dropped a total of seven games in singles action, winning all six matches in straight sets. Janes at No. 1 and Sato at No. 4 dispatched their opponents without losing a game. Potz Nagy beat Schulz on court three by only dropping a single game in the second set.Â

Carter LaMont (Villard, Minn./Minnewaska Area) beat Neumann, 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6 and Gilbertson beat Steinbrenner, 6-0, 6-2, at No. 5.
