DE PERE, Wis. -- The UW-Superior men's tennis team kept rolling Saturday, extending season-opening winning streak to four matches with a 7-2 victory over Loras at the Green Bay Tennis Center.

Igor Guetten Chaves (Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil/Colégio Adventista) picked up two more wins against the Duhawks (2-4) to pace the Yellowjackets in the win. Guetten Chaves won at No. 1 doubles with partner
Ren Kurachi (Yokohama, Japan/Yokosuka Gakuin) over Kevin Blomquist and Konnor Barth, 8-2. He followed it up with a 6-2, 6-2 win in No. 1 singles action over Blomquist.
Other wins came from
Andre Luiz de Melo Guedes (Brasilia, Brazil/Centro de Ensino Médio Paulo Freire) and
Jacob Zacharias (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti) and No. 2 doubles over Kareem Kassas and Lucas Healy, 8-4, and
Benedek Kaibas (Salgótarján, Hungary/Mikszáth Kálmán Gimnázium) and
Mateus Miranda Silvestre (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/Colegio Torricelli) against Sean Gelski and Gage Becker, 8-4 at No. 3.
de Melo Guedes beat Becker at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-3, and Silvestre topped Gelski, 6-2, 6-0, on court five.
Jace Gilbertson (Menomonie, Wis./Menomonie Senior) also won at No. 6 against Healy, 6-2, 6-1.
The Yellowjackets are back in action Sunday facing St. Norbert at 8 a.m.
