DE PERE, Wis. -- The UW-Superior women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 match to UW-Stout at the Green Bay Tennis Center on Saturday.
 
The Yellowjackets (0-3) won their first match of the season as Shelby Hanson (Albert Lea, Minn./Albert Lea Senior) and Jessi Kukowski (Duluth, Minn./Hermantown) won at No. 3 doubles over Kylie Rennie and Ella Lamppa, 8-3.
 
Freshman Brooke Wilfong (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech) also beat Kyrstin Hanson, 7-5, 6-7, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and Dalyn Drew topped Madeline Binczak, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 6.
 
The Blue Devils improved to 4-6 on the season with he win.
 
 UWS is back in action Sunday facing St. Norbert at 8 a.m.
