SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) has announced that the UW-Superior women's tennis team will travel to Minnesota Morris for a conference tournament play-in match Tuesday, April 25.

With the addition of the South Division in men's and women's tennis, the playoff format had to be changed, with the top two teams in each division advancing to the conference tournament, which will be played at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis, Minn. April 28-29. However, if there was a tie for the second position in either division, a play-in match would be utilized to determine that division's No. 2 seed. The Yellowjackets and Morris ended up tied for second place in the North Division and split their matches in the regular season, making the play-in match necessary Tuesday's winner will then advance to Minneapolis this coming weekend.

Because the match is part of the UMAC Tournament, it will be played to decision, meaning once one team reaches five victories, the match will be over.

The match is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at the Morris Tennis Courts in Morris, Minn.
