MANKATO, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) has announced changes to the schedule for the 2023 UMAC Baseball Tournament.

Games Friday got underway five hours after the originally scheduled start times. As a result, the second game of the day, Crown versus Bethany Lutheran was suspended due to a city light ordinance. The game was finished Saturday morning, with Bethany Lutheran winning 15-0, but the rain will prevent any further games from being played Saturday.

The next game up is an elimination game between the Yellowjackets and Crown. The first pitch is scheduled for Sunday at 10 a.m. at Franklin Rogers Park in Mankato. The winner of the game will move onto the UMAC championship where they will face Bethany Lutheran, with the first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. If necessary, the second game would have a 4 p.m. first pitch.

After winning the first game of the season against Crown last Saturday, the Yellowjackets have lost the last three, including the first game of the tournament Thursday.
