SUPERIOR, Wis. - The UW-Superior baseball series against Crown College, scheduled for this weekend at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex, has been adjusted due to anticipated inclement weather.

The series was originally scheduled to have a single game played Friday afternoon and a doubleheader played Saturday afternoon. With the threat of heavy rain Saturday, the teams will now play a doubleheader Friday, with start times scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. They will play a single game at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon, weather permitting.

The teams will utilize Sunday as a rain date.

The Yellowjackets (19-11, 15-3 UMAC) are currently in first place in the conference and have clinched a berth into the 2023 UMAC Tournament. The Yellowjackets can finish anywhere from first place to fourth place, and with one win over Crown, will clinch a top-two seed in the tournament, making the games this weekend crucial for both teams.
