OSHKOSH, Wis. – Seniors
Earl Foster (Forest Lake, Minn./Spectrum) and
Garrett Lynch (Portage, Wis./Portage) finished up day two of the UW-Oshkosh Multi Saturday. Foster and Lynch capped day one inside the Kolf Sports Center garnering scores of 2,459 and 1,893, respectively.
Day two of the Multi saw Foster climb to eighth place in the standings, totaling 4,455 points Saturday. Lynch ended his day in 13th place, picking up a total score of 3,133.
After Friday saw the senior duo compete in the high jump, shot put, long jump, and 60-meter hurdles, Saturday's action consisted of the 1,000-meter race, pole vault, and the 60-meter dash.
Foster's 1,000-meter race time saw him place seventh, finishing in 3:11.35. His pole-vaulting mark resulted in fifth place at 3.95 meters, while his 60-meter dash time came in at 7.5 seconds.
Lynch ran the 1,000-meter race in 3:25.78, while finishing the 60-meter dash in 7.44 seconds.
Sitting atop the leaderboard was UW-Oshkosh's Aden Sears, scoring 5,243 points and grabbing four first-place finishes on the weekend.
The Yellowjackets will be back in action next Saturday, seeing action at the CSS Early Bird. The meet will commence at 11 a.m. inside St. Scholastica's Burns Wellness Commons.
