SAINT PAUL, Minn. -  The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) released its men's basketball postseason award winners in an announcement Wednesday, and the Yellowjackets saw two players receive conference recognition.

Senior J'Vaun Walker (Rosharon, Texas/Manvel) received a spot on the All-UMAC First Team along with an All-UMAC Defensive Team citation, while classmate Josef Fahrenholtz (Chatfield, Minn./Chatfield) was slotted on the All-UMAC Second Team.

Senior Kyle Bilodeau (Chetek, Wis./Chetek-Weyerhaeuser) represented the Yellowjackets on the All-UMAC Sportsmanship Team.

Walker started in all 27 games for the 'Jackets in 2023-24. He totaled 844 minutes on the hardwood, averaging 31.3 minutes-per-game. Walker led the Yellowjackets and finished fourth in the UMAC in scoring, notching 441 points (16.3 ppg) while capping the season with a 71.8 percentage from the line. Defensively he grabbed a team-second 118 rebounds, a team and conference-leading 57 steals and blocked four opposing shots. Walker also became the 16th Yellowjacket to eclipse the 1,000-point mark against Marian on Jan. 22.

Fahrenholtz, also starting in all 27 games, saw 705 minutes of action throughout the campaign (26.1 minutes-per-game). He carried a 43.8 percentage from midrange, converting on 145 attempts. Defensively he led the 'Jackets with 187 rebounds, which was good for fourth in the conference, while adding 19 blocks. Fahrenholtz also joined the 1,000-point mark, becoming the 17th Yellowjacket to join the club against Bethany Lutheran on Feb. 17. Additionally, he ended 2023-24 with a 92.6 free throw percentage (87-of-94), a mark that currently stands fourth in all of NCAA Division III.

The Yellowjackets finished the season with an overall record of 18-9. Entering the UMAC Tournament as the No. 2 seed, the 'Jackets made it to the championship game for the second-straight season.
