Isaac Fugere (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) singled through the five-six hole to plate two before bumping up to second on the throw.
- Trey Sybrant (Saint Michael, Minn./Saint Michael-Albertville Senior) clubbed a ground-rule double to right center field, scoring Fugere before Tanner Voight (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater Area) reached by an infield single.
- Doubling down the left field line was Brian O'Dwyer (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove Senior), who plated Voight and Sybrant to make it 6-1. Nick Fredrikson (Minneapolis, Minn./St. Anthony Village) joined and singled to left field, scoring O'Dwyer and Cole Ondrus (Esko, Minn./Esko), who reached base by a walk.
