CLOQUET, Minn. – Saturday the Yellowjacket women's tennis team played its final match of the fall season, taking on Macalester at the Cloquet High School Tennis Courts. Superior cruised to victory on the day, sweeping Macalester by a score of 7-0.

- UWS emerged victorious at Nos. 2 and 3 double positions, as Kate Jonas (Annandale, Minn./Annandale) and Addison Fee (Crookston, Minn./Crookston) won 6-2 while Elif Oezen (Rheda-Wiedenbrueck, Germany/Einstein Gymnasium) and Daylyn Drew (Negaunee, Mich./Negaunee) won 6-4, respectively.
- Andreina Tejada (Quito, Ecuador/Isaac Newton) was slotted at No. 1 singles. Before falling 7-5 to her Scot counterpart, she rallied to win 6-3 in the second before taking the tiebreaker 1-0 (10-8).
- Anouk Bluemm (Nuremberg, Germany/Wilhelm-Loege Gymnasium) followed suit at the second singles position, taking down Elizabeth Trevathan 7-5, 7-6 (7-5).
- Oezen and Curtis logged wins of 6-4, 6-3 and 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5), respectively.
- Jonas handled her business at No. 5 singles, winning 6-0, 6-1 while Drew picked up 6-1, 6-1 wins over Berkeley Cox.
The Yellowjackets will return to action in the spring, taking on Concordia College Saturday, Feb. 14 at the Duluth Indoor Sports Center.
