ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Yellowjacket women's cross country team competed at the Augustana Interregional Invitational Saturday. With arguably some of the best competition within the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) and the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), the Yellowjackets garnered a 23rd place finish.

Race Notes
- Pacing the Yellowjackets was Simone Stephens (Scottsdale, Ariz./Saguaro), as she garnered a race time of 24:42.8 while placing 57th on the individual leaderboard.
- Amelia Olson (Sturgeon Lake, Minn./Moose Lake) followed, taking home a 27:00.4 on the day. This serves as a new personal record.
- Garnering a 28:41.4 was Scarlett Vanderscheuren (Saginaw, Minn./South Ridge), with Aubrey Peterson (Kasson, Minn./Kasson-Mantorville) (29:18.2) and Lillianna Jones (Portage, Wis./Portage) (29:32.2) following, respectively.
- Rounding out the entrants was Abby Congleton (Eagle River, Wis./Northland Pines) with a 31:09.9.

The 'Jackets will now shift their focus to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Championship, which is set for Saturday, Nov. 1 in Winthrop, Minn.
