SUPERIOR, Wis. - The UW-Superior women's soccer team entered their match with Bethany Lutheran fighting for the top spot in the UMAC with the Vikings and Northwestern. In this game despite holding the advantage in shots, the 'Jackets fell short, losing to BLC by a score of 2-1.

The Yellowjackets led the contest in shots on goal 20-9 with a 10-7 advantage in shots on goal. Larson led the way in total shots for UWS with seven, while Kamryn Hill (Duluth, Minn./Denfeld) added five.
The Yellowjackets (8-7-4, UMAC 7-1-3) return home tomorrow as they host Martin Luther for Senior Day. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at SCCU Stadium.
