ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Yellowjacket women's basketball team hit road again on Saturday to take on Hamline. The 'Jackets were never able to get anything going in the contest as they fell to the Pipers 56-27.  

Game Notes:  

• The Pipers jumped out early on the 'Jackets' as they took an early eight-point advantage before two buckets from Kylee Hewitt (Hurley, Wis./) cut the lead to four.  

• After that the 'Jackets were never able to get the lead closer than four after that point as Hamline took a seven-point advantage heading into the second quarter.  

• In the second quarter, the Pipers continued to build their lead, going up at the halfway point 32-14.  

• In the second half, UWS was unable to get any offense going as Hamline steadily grew their lead ultimately coming away with the victory.  

• Superior was led in points by Hewitt, who had six while Hope Carlson (Duluth, Minn./Proctor) scored five.  

• Hamline was led by Camille Cummings who had 20 points. 

The Yellowjackets return to the court for their home opener next Saturday against MSOE. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. inside Mertz Mortorelli Gymnasium.
