MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Yellowjacket men's track and field team is a week away from the 2025 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships, and two team members were in action Friday, competing at the Snowshoe Open, hosted by the University of Minnesota.
Earl Foster (Forest Lake, Minn./Spectrum) was the first competitor of the day, competing in the 60-meter hurdles. Foster finished the preliminary race with a time of 8.74 seconds, which put him in 12th place. Foster did not qualify for the finals in the event.
The other Yellowjacket in action Friday was
Zach Reese (Zimmerman, Minn./Spectrum). The senior distance runner competed in the 3,000 meters, and finished with a time of 8:49.57, which was good enough for 13th place. For Reese, the time represented a new personal record.
The Yellowjackets will have one relay team in action Saturday at the Gene Glader Classic, hosted by Bethel University, Saturday in St. Paul, Minn.
