SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Tuesday afternoon the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) revealed its All-UMAC teams in men's basketball, and two Yellowjackets received postseason plaudits.
 
The senior duo of Reid Johnson (Chatfield, Minn./Chatfield) and J'Vaun Walker (Rosharon, Texas/Manvel) were slated to the All-UMAC Second Team. Walker also represented UW-Superior on the Defensive All-Conference squad, while senior Luke Fehrenbacher (Batavia, Ill./Batavia) represented the 'Jackets on the All-UMAC Sportsmanship Team.

Johnson ended the season seeing action in 24 games, while cracking the starting lineup in 15 contests. Seeing 647 minutes on the court he logged a career-best 46.6 percentage from field goal range, while sinking 51 three pointers. His efforts from the charity stripe saw him lead all Yellowjackets in free-throw percentage (81.4), while cracking the top ten in most offensive categories. Johnson capped the campaign averaging 16 points per game, logging 385 for a career total of 928 points scored.

Walker started in 22 games while appearing in 24. His 731 minutes on the court averaged to 30.5 minutes per game, leading to a 46.4 shooting percentage from the field. At the line he made 104 shots, leading the Yellowjackets and sitting third across the UMAC. His 401 total points also sat atop the UWS leaderboard and sat seventh in the league. Defensively Walker was responsible for 111 total rebounds while logging a career-high 67 steals to finish with 246 in his career.

The Yellowjackets concluded the 2024-25 campaign with an overall record of 12-13, while garnering a conference mark of 9-5.
