MORRIS, Minn. – The Yellowjacket women's tennis team was back in action Sunday, competing in their third Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) match in the last two days.

Saturday, the Yellowjackets rolled to a pair of 6-1 wins on the road, defeating Crown and Martin Luther. Sunday, they traveled up the road to Morris and came out with a clean sweep for the weekend.

The Yellowjackets won two-of-three doubles matches to get the single point, then rolled through the singles matches to defeat the Cougars 7-0 at the Morris Tennis Courts.

With the win, the Yellowjackets (15-5, 3-0 UMAC) extended their winning streak to four matches, and are now just one win away from tying last year's program record of 16 wins in a season.

Match Notes
- The Yellowjackets won all singles matches in straight sets.
- Andreina Tejada (Quito, Ecuador/Isaac Newton) and Elif Oezen (Rheda-Wiedenbrueck, Germany/Einstein Gymnasium) won by scores of 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively.
- Tejada has won six of her last eight singles matches.
- Oezen has won four in a row and seven of her last nine in singles play.
- Giulia Araujo De Barros (Curitiba, Brazil/Colegio Sabre) also had an easy time at No. 4 singles, winning 6-1, 6-0.
- Araujo De Barros has won seven of her last eight.
- At No. 3 singles, Claudia Curtis (Lake Mills, Wis./Lake Mills) won 6-2, 6-0. She has won four matches in a row.
- Kate Jonas (Annandale, Minn./Annandale) lost only one game in her match at No. 5 singles, winning 6-0, 6-1.
- Jonas has won five of her last six.
- Daylyn Drew (Negaunee, Mich./Negaunee) earned another singles victory Sunday, winning 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6 singles. She is now 7-2 in singles play this season.
- In doubles play Tejada and Araujo De Barros won 6-3 in the No. 1 slot, while Anouk Bluemm (Nuernberg, Germany/Wilhelm-Loege Gymnasium) and Brooke Wilfong (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech) won 6-2 at No. 2.
The Yellowjackets will continue play in their UMAC schedule when they return home to take on Northwestern Friday. The first serve is set for 2:30 p.m. at the Yellowjacket outdoor tennis complex.
