  • Bethany Lutheran scored four runs off three hits and a Yellowjacket error in their half of the first. The Vikings plated another run in the following frame.
  • Superior got a runner in scoring position in the top of the fifth after reaching on an error, but the Vikings drew a pair of strikeouts and a fielder's choice to kill the Yellowjackets' rally.
  • Six runs and five hits led the way for Bethany Lutheran in the bottom of the fifth, seeing them lead 13-1.
  • Dagostino went 2-4 in the game, serving as the only Yellowjacket with more than a single hit.

He would pitch 4.1 innings allowing just three hits and one earned run while taking the loss. His record ends at 4-2.
  • Superior once again scored first in the contest, as Sybrant and Tanner Voight (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater) garnered back-to-back singles. A wild pitch led to both runners advancing 90 feet before Will Czech (Anoka, Minn./Anoka) hit a sacrifice fly to right.
  • A leadoff error came around to bite Superior in the bottom of the third as BLC tied things up.
  • BLC scored another in the fourth and three more in the fifth inning to lead 5-1 heading into the sixth.
  • Superior fought back in the seventh, beginning with an infield single from Cole Ondrus (Esko, Minn./Esko) and Payton Steiner (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo) getting plunked. Voight would club a two-RBI double into center field, and Czech would follow with a single to left field. Maxton Howell (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mission Viejo) hit a ball up the middle to plate Voight and bring the Yellowjacket deficit down to just one at 5-4.
