SUPERIOR, Wis. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its track and field/cross country lists, and three members of the Yellowjacket women's track and field team were recognized. The sophomore duo of Simone Stephens (Scottsdale, Ariz./Saguaro) and Summer Hesseldahl (International Falls, Minn./Falls), alongside junior Sidney Bader (Milltown, Wis./Unity) received academic plaudits following the 2024-25 seasons.
 
Stephens boasts a 3.83 grade point average while studying exercise science. She garnered a pair of top 20 rankings in the north region, securing 14th place with a 2:15.82 mark in the outdoor 800-meter race while logging 18th place in the 1,500-meter race with a time of 4:45.13. Furthermore, Stephens ranked 100th in the nation with her race time in the 800-meters.
 
Hesseldahl studies exercise science while maintaining a 3.95 grade point average. Her sophomore campaign ended with her ranking 49th regionally, claiming a 9.69-second finish in the 60-meter hurdles.
 
Bader, an English education major that holds a 3.87 grade point average, collects her second CSC honor in as many seasons. Her heave in the javelin came in 15th overall in the region, which stands at 36.25 meters.
 
The Yellowjackets took third in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) indoor championship before taking second in the outdoor campaign.
