SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Yellowjacket women's track and field team hosted the second of two days of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Outdoor Championships in Superior. Following the day's action, the 'Jackets took home a team score of 149 for a collective finish of third place.

Meet Notes
- Sidney Bader (Milltown, Wis./Unity) took eighth in the hammer throw with a chuck of 35.11 meters.
- Five Yellowjackets finished within the top 10 in the high jump, which was spearheaded by Chesney Phillipp (Jacksonville, N.C./Holdingford) and Bel Dimaze (Monticello, Minn./Spectrum) with a leap of 1.50 meters. Kyra Nelson (Faribault, Minn./Faribault) followed, while KelliJoy Manninen (Duluth, Minn./Proctor) (1.45 meters) and Addison Smith (Blue Earth, Minn./Blue Earth) (1.30 meters) rounded out the Superior entrants.
- Aylie Dahl's (Beaumont, Alberta/John Maland) triple jump mark of 10.32 meters gave her fourth place overall in the meet, while Naima Burt (Winter, Wis./Winter) (9.06 meters) and Riley Toivonen (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) (8.99 meters) followed.
- Simone Stephens (Scottsdale, Ariz./Saguaro) led the 1,500-meters, taking home event plaudits with a 4:48.36-second finish. She also led the 5k, setting a new meet record with a time of 18:45.36 seconds.
- Phillipp's personal best was set in the 100-meter hurdles, crossing the line at 17.19 seconds.
- Lillianna Jones (Portage, Wis./Portage) also set a new personal best, finishing the 400-meter race in 1:04.00.
- In the 100-meter dash, Maddie Reott (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) led the 'Jackets with a time of 13.07 seconds. Dahl came in sixth place at 13.21 seconds.
- The quartet of Taylor DeCook (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect), Scarlett Vanderscheuren (Saginaw, Minn./South Ridge), Putnam and Jones took fourth with a time of 4:22.99 seconds in the 4x400-meter relay.

The 'Jackets are back in action Friday where they take on the Eagle Open. Hosted by UW-La Crosse, events begin at 3 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Sports Complex.
