SAINT CLOUD, Minn. – The Yellowjacket men's cross country team got the 2025 year started on a high note Friday, earning a finish of third place at the Toni St. Pierre Invite in Saint Cloud, Minn.
Race Notes
- Superior was led by Dylan Uitto (Ashland, Wis./Ashland), who logged a fourth-place finish on the 5k course with a 16:00.6. Also ranking within the top 10 was Maverick Hoogland (Catawba, Wis./Phillips), garnering a 16:16.6 finish.
- In 29th place was Dominick Meisner (Bloomer, Wis./Bloomer), crossing the line with a mark of 17:04.8.
- Jayde Canfield (Prescott, Wis./Prescott) was the fourth Yellowjacket finisher on the evening, collecting a 17:31.8.
- Deryck Parduhn (Ashland, Wis./Ashland) and Oleksandr Danylov (Kyiv, Ukraine/European Collegium) rounded out the Yellowjackets, collecting marks of 18:30.5 and 19:53.5, respectively.
Superior returns to action Saturday, Sept. 20 where they compete at the St. Olaf Cross Country Course. Races are set to begin at 11 a.m. in Northfield, Minn.
